Envirocon operates the CarbonSmart® concrete sustainability system. We take high quality, certified, wet excess concrete and turn it into unique precast concrete modular wall systems - Interbloc and Stonebloc.
Interbloc and Stonebloc are engineered, high productivity, low carbon, and zero waste concrete blocks. They are used for temporary and permanent bulk materials storage, retaining walls, hoardings, barriers, and bollards.
Please use the form below to tell us how we can help and we will get in touch with you as soon as possible.
The Envirocon system delivers a 97% reduction in embodied carbon relative to the average carbon cost associated with concrete production*. Interbloc is backed by an Environmental Product Declaration.
Envirocon is a Product Stewardship Scheme accredited by the Minister for the Environment under the Waste Minimisation Act 2008.
At the end of life, Interbloc and Stonebloc structures can be non-destructively dismantled and reused. Interbloc can also be sold back to Envirocon via our industry leading Buyback Guarantee.
Interbloc and Stonebloc are high productivity precast wall modular wall systems. This means you can install more walls with less time spent on labour.
This is done with our interlocking shear key, lifting system, and NZ compliant engineering.
During installation the blocks self-align and positively interlock, meaning two installers using common lifting equipment can build up to 120m2 (Stonebloc) or 160m2 (Interbloc) of wall per day.
Envirocon’s Interbloc and Stonebloc precast wall systems are backed by comprehensive, code compliant, structural design methodologies.
While primarily a gravity wall system, Interbloc can be vertically reinforced post installation to form a cantilever wall - increasing the loads the wall can take. Envirocon leverages the established Reidbar system for vertical reinforcing.
For ultra high load retaining walls both Interbloc and Stonebloc can utilise a Mechanically Stabilised Earth wall design.
